[Ubuntu 11.10]Gimp loading shared files problem

A few days ago, I tried installing gimp-2.7 development snapshots.  I had to re-install gimp 2.6 due to due to some issues. So I just uninstalled the previous one and tried installing gimp2.6 using synaptic but problem comes out ,every time I got error below error. I tried uninstalling libbabl and libgegl and then did fresh install of gimp2.6 from Ubuntu software center but without lukc. I am using Ubuntu 11.10.

What should I do now?Please help,thanks in advance.

 

gimp: error while loading share libraries:libbabl-0.0.so.0: cabbit open shared object file:no such file or directory

I would remove all things gimp using purge in a terminal.

Then I would install gimp from the software center- that one is version 2.6.11.
